Meitheal continues to host transition year students, exposing future designers to the inner workings of a design practice, providing an understanding of the working life of an architect.
Last week, our TY student, Anna Collins, was introduced to some computer software that we use on a daily basis; SketchUp and Photoshop, and worked with mentor, David Curran, to complete a “City in Transition” project. Anna’s excellent “South Mall Park Area” project was developed from a site location visit, utilising online research and sketching ideas to produce a wonderful final design.
