Meitheal Architects have successfully achieved practical completion at the new-build, 90-bed nursing home at Carnew, Co. Wicklow, following a 24-month construction period due to Covid restrictions and material shortages.
The large development, designed to HIQA standards, consists of a cluster of contemporary single-storey and two-storey pitched volumes, interconnected to form 2 no. enclosed landscaped courtyards for residents.
The development has now been handed over to the operator for its internal fit out in advance of opening.
