It’s a pleasure welcoming Deirdre to our Dublin office, and LiQin and Gareth to our Cork office.
Deirdre joins us from Technological University Dublin, having completed her third year in Architecture. Working with mentors Luke and Alan, Deirdre is developing her experience in the residential and hospitality sectors, applying skills such as drafting, working on planning design statements, and 3D imaging.
LiQin is studying Architecture at Cork Centre for Architectural Education (CCAE), also going into her final year. Advised by Meitheal mentors Mark and Daniel, LiQin has been focusing on the residential sector, developing her skills in drafting, contributing to planning applications, and designing floor plans for apartment blocks and dwelling houses.
Gareth is also entering his final year at Cork Centre for Architectural Education (CCAE). He has been working in the residential and hospitality sectors, mentored by Luke and Eva. Gareth has won several awards recognising his academic achievements, and has been applying these same skills to the hands-on drafting, design, and planning permission processes.
We are delighted to provide a space for students to hone their technical skills and to experience the professional working environment. Meitheal Architects is dedicated to supporting young specialists entering the industry, with many of our student placements returning to us in full-time roles after graduation.
