Páirc na Manach

Project overview

The Ballymany development features the construction of 204 no. dwelling units and a creche on an initially greenfield, residentially-zoned site.. The units are composed of a variety of dwelling houses, duplexes, and apartments, a housing mix aimed at supporting adaptability if needed. The area is within walking distance of Newbridge town centre, and boasts rich public transports links to avail of local services, along with access to the M7 for broader connection.

The development is inspired by an urban garden design, with complementary green and street networks enabling continuous connectivity and movement throughout the site. The built environment draws inspiration from the ordered layouts and distinct palettes of Georgian squares, reinterpreted with a modern view of colour and material harmony to enable placemaking. The irregular site shape allowed for tree-lined avenues to frame the boundary, and landscaping has been approached with a goal of facilitating biodiversity.
