The LEED and BREEAM certified hotel comprises two of the Marriott brands, Moxy Hotels and Residence Inn by Marriott combined into one building with approx. 8,000m² of space.
The old Camden Palace, a Protected Structure, has been incorporated into the scheme with the original features incorporated into the rooms and reception of the Moxy Hotel. At ground floor level the proposed development contains hotel reception areas, gym, meeting rooms, café, kitchens, storage, staff welfare, servicing, and plant areas with hotel accommodation at upper floors.
Meitheal Architects are providing a full range of post-planning services to ensure an efficient process for the client and developer alike: Interior Design, Construction Documentation, Assigned Certifier, FSC & DAC, PSDP and amendment planning; this allows maximum effect to ensure tight timelines can be met, with each of these disciplines being looked after internally by our high quality teams.
The project is due for completion in Q3 2024.
