Key Responsibilities:
- Working on the development and detailing of architectural designs
- Preparing and producing technical drawings and specifications
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design integrity
- Conducting site visits
- Keeping up to date with legislation, standards, and technological innovation
- Managing BCMS and Assigned Certifier compliance on projects
- Administering contracts and project certifications
- Advising on materials, technology, and processes involved in building design
Job Requirements
- Degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software and BIM is essential. ArchiCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign is a bonus
- Proficiency in the BCMS platform, an experienced understanding of the Irish Building Regulations (including Parts B, L & M), the B(C)AR process, and Health and Safety requirements are all required to perform this role successfully
- Comprehensive understanding of the Planning Permission process & requirements
- Strong knowledge of construction detailing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
