A huge thank you to our project partners JMK Group, Conack, Meehan Green, Easlar, and MMOS Engineers for their collaboration in delivering this milestone.

Designed with energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable materials, this project reflects our commitment to responsible and high-performance architecture. From advanced building systems to low-water-use fixtures and smart transport connectivity, every element was carefully considered to reduce environmental impact while enhancing guest comfort.

As architects, we have a responsibility to shape a more sustainable future and this achievement reinforces our dedication to integrating best-in-class green design principles across our projects.

Roger Russell, General Manager, Moxy and Residence Inn Cork, said: “Environmental, social and governance (ESG) plays an integral part of our business strategy not only at the Moxy and Residence Inn Cork, but the wider JMK Hospitality Group. We are delighted to be recognised for our efforts with this LEED Gold Certification.”

Patrick O’Toole, Managing Director of Meitheal Architects, said: “LEED Gold certification for the Moxy and Residence Inn Cork is a significant achievement and a reflection of our unwavering commitment to sustainability in architectural design. From the earliest stages, the project aimed for the highest standards in energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and the creation of a comfortable and healthy space for guests and staff alike.
