Project overview
Our clients purchased a 20-room guesthouse in Dingle, with an empty ground floor originally designed for retail units. As part of a larger discussion to re-new the brand and re-align the property within the market, we sought permission for 10 new rooms to the ground floor, along with a re-arrangement of the upper floors to accommodate another 2 rooms.
Along with this, we worked with Emma Prendiville from BlankSlate Studio, an experienced hospitality branding company, to re-imagine the interiors of the new rooms and reception for the targeted demographic. The result is a thoroughly modern yet textured ID that repositions the property in the busy Dingle tourist landscape.
Meitheal Architects provided a full service; feasibility, concept, planning, FSC/DAC, PSDP and BCAR allowing a quick speedy delivery of a fast track hospitality project in the crucial winter shutdown period.
