The Lodges

Project overview

The Lodges Estate in Castle Falls, Killarney, comprises 14 no. units between 3-5 bed, semi-detached dwelling houses, each with a private garden. Units are designed to be flexible and future-proofed for a variety of diverse living arrangements, with particularly attention paid to the accessibility of each dwelling and the estate itself.

Lying in a centrally proximate and culturally rich location, the development is within walking distance from Killarney Town. Its vicinity to the Ring of Kerry provides access to major national road networks and extensive public transport services. A variety of green spaces are landscaped within the estate, with the primary of these being a park provided to the North of the site.

The previously greenfield site is partially bounded by existing residential developments, with the new estate designed to provide a complementary extension to these urban forms. The palette and materials draw inspiration from natural textures and colours distinct to the Kerry region.
