The design of Rachel Allen's restaurant was a successful, fast-tracked fit-out project. The site was a challenging 500 m2 retail unit combining several previously disconnected rooms into one coherent space, all located with a multi-tenancy building. As well as being principal interior designers, we were tasked with managing the technical and statutory processes while balancing the aesthetic design of the restaurant itself. Our role was all-encompassing; managing a client team with the view of achieving a high quality fit-out on a budget, whilst delivering very aesthetic goals. The mix of natural materials, sculptures and sense of craftsmanship infuse this large space with a feeling of intimacy, reflecting the client’s strong aesthetic and brand identity.
Design has always been a big thing for me - I know what I like. Luke [Hickson] and Pat [O Toole] have been absolutely brilliant, they really get what I want
